LOW-COST BOARDING FOR YOUR PETS

We are a small, warm, friendly and personal boarding facility that will give individual attention to each pet at no extra cost. All animals receive care and supervision by a licensed veterinary technician, and certified CPDT-KA Canine trainer.

Our indoor boarding area is climate-controlled and well ventilated with natural daylight.  All outside time will be with human supervision to encourage potty breaks, play and exercise. Cages are cleaned several times a day and more if needed, not just once a day.

We have Kuranda elevated beds and gel foam beds for each pet, or you may bring beds from home. If your pet needs medications or special food, bring it with you and our qualified and trained staff and students will sure your furry friend receives it as directed

Dogs - Day Care Boarding

Drop off is at 7:30 a.m. and pick up is by 5:30 p.m.

$10 / 4hours or less

$20 / full day

Dogs - Day Care Boarding w/ Training Sessions

Drop off is at 7:30 a.m. or 9 a.m. and pick up is by 5:30 p.m. This includes training sessions by students from the Canine Assisted Services program throughout the day to work on manner skills for your pet and a review with you at pick up. 

$30 /day

Dogs - Overnight Boarding

Housing areas are private indoor spaces, each with design for privacy, comfort, cleanliness and safety.  All dogs are provided with safe interactive toys for chewing and enrichment  as well as Kurunda beds or Gel cushion mats depending on their needs for comfort. All dogs get human interaction and exercise time throughout the day.

We ask that canines come for a day of day boarding prior to their first time staying so that we can observe how they will do in a kennel situation.  Through this, your pet will become accustomed to the way we operate before your extended leave, and they will feel relaxed and comfortable during their stay.  Also so that if any additional accommodations need to be met we can do this prior to you leaving your pet.

$25 to $35 /day

depending on size and accommodations needed.

*If medications are needed to be given while  in our care an additional fee will apply.

*You can also add additional training or exercise sessions to your pets stay for $5 each.

Cats - Overnight Boarding

Kennels are private indoor spaces.  Cats are housed in separate areas from dogs for comfort and safety.  All cats get human interaction several times a day.

$20 /day

Add-on Training or Exercise Sessions

Additional exercise or training sessions can be added to your pets boarding stay. These are manners training or can be confidence building exercises to help your pet feel more confident and less anxious in all environments.

$5 each up to 3 times a day

 

  • All pets for all services are to be up to date on vaccines, DHPP +/ -L, RABIES, and Bordetella vaccines.  They also must have an up to date fecal exam, and  be on an approved Flea/Tick medication.
  • Cats must have FVRCP, Rabies, fecal and approved flea/tick medication. 
  • Please have your veterinarian email a copy of vaccines to hcbg@hocking.edu within 72 hours of making an appointment or the appointment will be canceled.
  • Please email the completed client form within 48 hours of making the appointment or the appointment will be canceled.
